Arnald Climent is a designer, craftsman jeweler and a great emocional browser of metal. In his hands, the silver becomes capricious and offers a unique type of jewelry and personal with an intimate style of great beauty.Climent Arnald pieces are completely handmade, handcrafted and unique. All are made of 925 sterling silver and each inspires a particular feeling. Currently, the designer offers three collections parts, pieces of silver and amber pieces with silver and rhodochrosite and a collection of rings for him (though the jewels are unisex). The artist tells his story and evolution: "My name is Arnald Climent. I was born in Osorno, a quiet town near Girona in 1975. As a child came to live in Barcelona with my parents and my brothers. I started in the world of jewelry in the family business with my father more than 15 years ago. So I learned the trade. Since 2002 I have my studio where I make my jewelry, personal commissions and work for other companies. I also go to craft fairs and medieval doing participatory workshops for children (and not so young ...), in order to show the general public the tools and techniques of a jewelry shop. Using some of these tools and following the steps I am about giving, they make a metal piece to take home. I am used to get hoarse, but children have a good time". "I'm in the JORGC college (College of jewelers, goldsmiths, watchmakers and gemologists de Catalunya) and I have craftsman card Artesania Catalunya. As for my academic training, I started when I was already working. I majored in art and design school in Barcelona Llotja, I did a stage in the school of contemporary jewelry Alchimia, Florence and I graduated as a gemologist gemology school in the University of Barcelona. I've also done some other courses of specific techniques such as engraving or mokume gane (metal sandwich). As a young man wanted to be a cartoonist and spent four years at art school JOSO in Barcelona but in the end I threw out there and stayed with the jewelry." "My jewelry usually made of silver and often combined with precious stones or other materials (wood, resin ...). Although I also work with gold and sometimes platinum, especially in orders, wedding, anniversaries, gifts ... I have weakness for rhodochrosite, a pink stone, very typical in Argentina, usually banded with lighter shades and darker. One of my collection is intended to be made with this stone. But I also love the sapphires, rubies, diamonds, spinels, tourmalines and, finally, everything that I present. I also like to bring the stones to form the jewel that I do, so stem and polish some for my needs, sometimes I cabochons, laces, etc.. Sometimes I like to leave the rock as found in nature (or as it has come to my workshop)." "To my collections and to the orders I am inspired by my surroundings: a street, a game, a tree, a movie, stairs, a book, a reflection of a mountain in a lake ... do I know? sometimes the dumbest thing you find out one way or idea that you think for a moment sublime! Sometimes ideas just come to you, because if and if I have paper and pencil (I usually take) the point or the picture.""However, the real problem is that there is no time to pull all the ideas forward. Most of them are in a drawer or in a notebook. To work, I like to keep things tidy and in place. I find it much more comfortable start working well, but you start any new project or work, quickly seizes the clutter of my desk and in general throughout the workshop, and sometimes me."
