The geometry in the hands of Patricia Pla acquires a unique dimension. The obvious beauty of the jewels lies in the magic that the designer is able to give each of the lines that define her work. The superb quality of finish does the rest.
Silver and enamel are the materials with which the designer Patricia Pla presents her collection of elegant, geometric jewelry. The pieces stand out for its clean design, highlighted in turn by a high quality finish. The workmanship is spotless, perfect and texturing accentuates the contrast with the brightness of the enamel.
The artist has an architectural style inspired in the modernism of minimal shapes and visual lyricism. Basic colors like red, blue, green or black enamel in vibrant colors are bright to the pieces.
The apparent delicacy, despite the harsh straight lines is the result of the intense burden of femininity that are jewels by Patricia Pla, a magnificent example of promising new talents in jewelry design. Patricia Pla explains her influences, inspiration and trayectory: "My jewelry has a direct influence of art, both in the field of painting, as in the sculpture. Artists such as Piet Mondrian have marked style on my pieces where the geometry, color and proportion are important. At the same time, I designed most dynamic pieces with a game between the shape and movement. There are also jewels that are sculptural and experimental test results with origami and models. The technique used to give color to my pieces is the enamel on silver.
