Who is Rosario Alcaide?
I'm a pretty simple person, I enjoy the small pleasures of life. I have many hobbies but little time to devote it.
My work (related to several airlines at the airport in Ibiza) stress me and for this cause I need design jewelry in my spare time. That's my balance.


How do you define your style?
My style is quite variable but I am inclined for colorful pieces and the use of semiprecious stones used in its manufacture, resulting in a style with true ethnic character.

What is the best of design?
Of course, ithe best is the possibility to be able to create either something you have in mind for some time, a idea stems from a moment of a dream, an image. And why not something spontaneous, which emerges from the brush at the moment that you are prepared to design.

And, what is the most difficult?
Definitely the most difficult part is matching a custom design. It is very difficult to translate an idea, a feeling or an abstract concept in a jewels. If we unite to it the subjectivity and the character of each designer, it is likely that the design does not match the idea that the customer has in his head.

What are your preferences?
I love the Grassy and Cartier jewelry. Once I saw a video of how I designed at Cartier and I want to draw what I like to (someday) get to create!
