Beatiful bag by Belia Guerras

Belia Guerras is a designer in love with her work. Her family environment is fundamental to her, and it shows in that her pieces are pure love. Headgear, handbags and brooches are made manually with a gentleness and affection that is transmitted in each of its corners.

Based in a village in Valencia, Belia Guerras is aware that the virtual world has been a major help when she comes to publicize her work and reach customers around the world.

Her designs of headdresses and bags have the freshness of a restless mind, innovative and playful. And is that Belia loves to play with materials, shapes, trends ... mix, debug and create stunning designs with a nostalgic and very feminine spirit.

Color is a fundamental pillar in her pieces but more important is the support of her family, her parents and her daughter Jimena, "in charge of quality control" of her project Duchess, personalized and unique brooches.

Belia Guerras explains how she started in the world of design of accesories:

"Working with headdress was by the confidence of a friend. She needed one headdress for a wedding and I drew my wand .... I enjoyed mixing fabrics and beads that the end result, apart from a nice touch, was a new project where develop my imagination. They are unique pieces in which I tried to take care of the detail, feathers, raffia, silk, swarovski ... all very rethought and treated with care. "

"As for the bags, I've always wanted something original, charming, and the only way was to get down to work. For years, I even shipped my mother that made me of the macramé, and loved."

"One day I went to the bakery to the people to take the bread, I saw a grandmother wearing a crocheted purse with wooden handles and I suddenly came the need for mine. As the hook is not my point strong, despite having made my first steps on the evenings of entertainment when spending the summer in the village of my grandparents, had no time for such a great need and decided to make cloth, and certainly that would be mine. Then the different patterns of spots have been giving color to the entire collection. "
