Some houses and buildings are constructed with a dual purpose: to be useful and comfortable and create a visual impact that become icons. This is the case of the ten buildings that we present you.
The architectural design is essential for building cities and towns organized and agradabables in sight and with the maximum utilization of resources and space.
There are houses and unique buildings, built to attract attention in spectacular settings or with unique facades.
The ten selected buildings noted for their originality and for being true icons of modern architecture::
1. Cascade House. A classic, now a National Historic Landmark. It was completed in 1937 and since 1963 is open to the public. Built by architect Frank Lloyd Wright and is part of a cascade of 30 meters in Pennsylvania (USA).
2. Crooked House. Although it may seem, this is not a distorted picture, the house is so. It was built in Sopot (Poland) in 2003 with a Polish architect design Szotvnscv Zaleski in the style of German Expressionism.
 
3. Dancing House. Elegant design of Frank Gehry and Vlado Milunic of 1997. House also known as Ginger and Fred, and next to the Moldava River in Prague.
4. Crazy House o Cuelgue Nga Guesthouse. Hang Nga work of 1990 (Dalat, Vietnam) with an organic style, biological ... decorated with figures of animals and thousands of unexpected corners.
5. Ripley Building. Construction of great visual impact in Ontario (Canada). The man has artificially reproduced the catastrophic consequences of an architectural disaster.
