"Átropos" pendant

The Salvador Vico's jewels rub the more risky experimentation, the experimentation that has no limits. The futuristic design is the key to his style, very marked and enhanced by the use of shapes filled with an almost surreal avant.

Humorous and unique pieces such as Salvador Vico's jewels are hard to find. The use of different materials in nature, color and texture, and its perfect blend are the basis of the jewelry for this futuristic experimental artist, a tribute to the daring in its most obvious.

Jules Verne in literature, Blade Runner in cinema, Jean Michel Jarre in music ... we speak of genuine visionaries. There is no doubt that each of these names implies a step forward in the various disciplines that are implicated. The same applies to Salvador Vico in jewelry.

The complexity of the jewels of this artist is attractive and interesting, especially for restless minds, according to those who love to play. Each piece is different and in each of these we can find a thousand details that make them unique.

Salvador Vico describes his work and inspiration:

"My purpose is mainly to give an experimental approach, ie trying to use unorthodox materials, brass, copper, aluminum, iron, plastics, enamels, etc. And also experiment with the concept of use. Apart from the body adornment attempt to progress to the small sculptures that also are considered jewelry.

Apart from my studies, I belong to the third generation that is dedicated to this work. Since 1992 I have my studio in Valladolid, where I still work until now. As for the inspiration and method, subjects are difficult to answer, in my case, and more lately I think it do not exist. The ideas come as a necessity, that is, like breathing or eating."
