Rosario Alcaide and Venice: love at first sight.

This is the story of a love at first sight that ended up being the inspiration for the new collection of Rosario Alcaide. A trip to Venice and she fell into the network of passion and unbridled creativity. Here's the result.

"Venice is pure inspiration" and with that phrase of designer summarizes the style of her new collection of earrings where the colors, metal, forms ... all reminiscent of the Italian city and its unique charm.

With 925 silver, 14k goldfilled and pieces in golden silver, the stones will look proudly on a few designs that define the creative line of Rosario Alcaide. The vivid colors of rubies, spinels, carnelian, quartz, prenhitas... enhance the elegance of a themed collection that epitomizes the soul Venice and all its magic, a tribute with uppercase.

The designer tells us how this new line was forged in her catalog::

"I visited the island of Burano (not Murano), this tiny island where each and every one of the houses are painted in colors, colors that are vivid, bright, vibrant... There I began to think of the collection. I had to capture the optimism and joy of living in a quiet little town that seemed to be aware of how happy that made us walk through its streets. In it are inspired by the first two designs: Burano I and II."

"The next day it was the turn of Venice. What to say of its canals, bridges, alleys to get lost .... The color of old buildings and palaces reflected in the cornelian (Canali II earrings), the scum on the walls channels, as vesubianitas (Canali I). They twisted the metal takes forms such as Venetian canal, labyrinthine..."

"Life there is different, the absence of traffic noise is an impulse to explore the city, their jewelry, their glass shops ... as those found in the Rialto Bridge that inspired the designs Rialto I and II."

"The Góndole are a clear reference to the shelves, and "Oh sole mio!" designs are simple but bright and luxurious as the Grand Canal in Venice, full of busy life on the water that coexists with gondola rides and small luxury restaurants full of little details so characteristic of the country. A visual spectacle."

So with all this passion put into her work, Rosario Alcaide offers us a collection with the soul of Venice printed in every detail, a real treat for the eyes and a beautiful tribute to a love that will be for a lifetime.
