Joshua DeMonte works are spectacular from the first glance. But if you think about the degree of adjustment made by the artist to put an aqueduct around a neck ... that's when we realize its true worth as an architect jeweler.Joshua DeMonte has extensive training in the art world. He graduated in Arts at Temple University in Philadelphia, with specialization in all that includes prototyping 3D (three-dimensional printers, specialized software such as Rhinoceros ...). He's got many exhibitions and awards. Not surprisingly, as its pieces immediately will catch you. DeMonte does not design to go unnoticed, but quite the opposite, and is perhaps the user who becomes an accessory to the jewel and not vice versa. This is not good nor bad, but very different to what we are accustomed. His work is based on architectural elements: windows, aqueducts, stairs with a red carpet included... and no metaphors or allegories, all raw, with their details. The pieces are adapted to body shapes and curves creating fun, original and very bold spaces. More info: http://www.coroflot.com/ |
